Build lean muscle with full body functional strength training circuits. Utilize free weights in this progressive load based workout to truly feel and see strength gains as the workout stays consistent for 4-6 weeks. Muscular strength and endurance training are especially important as we age to reduce the risk of falls and age - related injuries by improving muscle mass, bone density, and body composition.
Focus on improving your core strength and stability, as well as flexibility and mobility to increase range of motion and move more freely. Maintaining a flexibility and mobility routine can alleviate muscle tightness, joint stiffness, chronic pains, and minimize delated onset muscle soreness (DOMS) after physical activity.
